C.G.I. International was formed in 1998 to purchase the Glass
Division of the Colebrand Group - which had traded as Colebrand
Glass.
C.G.I. International (CGII) is a leading manufacturer and supplier
of specialist glasses, mainly fire resistant glasses
which are either manufactured by CGII or trading exclusively in
many world markets-places.

At the end of 2005 some two thirds of CGII's product is exported
in addition to holding
a substantial share at the specialist end
of the fire glass market in the UK.
The range of fire glasses offered by CGII is the widest range
from any single manufacturer in the world. CGII's
aim is to provide fire glass users with a single supply source
for all their needs - from basic integral wired glass, with a
number of un-wired products and including a fully insulated fire
glass with performances of 30/30; 60/60; 90/90 and 120/120.
C.G.I. International's own manufacture Pyroguard
is a leader in many market places.
C.G.I. International products have been used in many prestigious
buildings throughout the world including Hong Kong Airport, Houses
of Parliament, Manchester Airport, Ikea, Ritz London, Holiday Inn
Expresses, Travel Inn, Marks & Spencer, Royal Mail, Nomura Bank,
Granada TV Studios and Warwick Castle.
CGI International Ltd (CGII) provides
fire products to fulfil a wide variety of performances and appearances
enabling specifiers to obtain all requirements for fire and speciality
glasses from a single source. CGII is a BSI registered company,
certified to BS EN ISO 9001. All products are tested to BS476 and
BS6206 as well as to a variety of International standards for impact
safety and fire resistance. CGII provides a wide range of solutions
where integrity (E), integrity and heat reduction (EW) or integrity
with insulation (EI) is required. Products include Pyroguard clear
and wired glass and world-renowned brands such as Pyrostem, Paraflam
and Fireswiss. Suitable for use in applications in wood, steel and
special forms of aluminium sections, glazed walls, screens, windows
and doors. CGII is a member of the GGF, BWF and CPD and holds the
Certifire approval for use in fire door applications. CGII has been
approved by the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification
Service and presents "An overview of Fire Rated Glasses" in lecture
or guidance paper form to Architects and other specifying authorities.
CGII used to be known as Colebrand and Northern Wired Glass.
